My nephew recently checked himself into an addiction treatment facility. He has struggled with drug addiction and alcoholism for nearly 13 years and he finally was able to see that it was really affecting not only himself, but everyone who cares about him. I’m glad he was able to check himself into rehab before he was forced into it after breaking the law or anything. I wish him luck and hope he can clean his life up while he still has time.

I’ve been wanting an elliptical machine for a while now. They’re supposed to work twice as good as a treadmill in the same ammount of time. I’ve checked out various fitness equipment and an elliptical really seems like the best option for me. I’m going to try and talk my girlfriend into letting me buy one soon. I know she’ll use it just as much as I’ll use it.

A while back I picked up a new set of Mizuno golf clubs. I havent really been able to use them yet due to work and the bad weather. I can’t wait until winter is over and I can go golfing every weekend. A few guys I know from work are all taking a trip someplace when summer comes around just to visit some nice golf course. I don’t know if I’m into golf that much, but I do enjoy it.

A friend of mine recently added a small business phone system to his office. Original he ran all of his business from his home, but recently he was able to rent some nice office space downtown and he really seems to be doing well. He offered me a job as his “computer guy” but he wasn’t really willing to pay me enough to leave my current job.

A while back I picked up some new roller shades for my living room.  We have been doing various home improvement projects for the past couple of months and we’re just about finished with everything. We still have a couple of things left to do, like install new showers in the bathrooms, but the majority of the projects are just about finished.
