My neighbor’s son was sent home from school one day. His mother called me to see if I could go to the school to get him because she was unable to take off work. I asked her what the reason was for them to send him home. She wasn’t sure. All she was told was that he had a rash and he kept scratching a lot and some of the places he was scratching had been bleeding. The school was afraid it could be contagious, so sent him home. They would not allow him to return to school until he was seen by a doctor and had a note from the doctor as well. She took him to the doctor the next day. Before they left to go to the doctor, she noticed he had a few blisters on his skin, other rashes and was itching tremendously. He had scratched so much through the night that some were bleeding. The doctor diagnosed him as having eczema. He wrote her a prescription to get filled and told her to be sure to apply the cream how he instructed her to do so. While waiting for the prescription to be filled, she browsed other over the counter medications that treated eczema. She was not aware that you could buy anything without a prescription to treat eczema. She inquired with the pharmacist about which he recommended. He told her every case is different and requires different strengths of medications. He also told her that her son should be much better real soon with the medication she was prescribed for her son’s eczema, as long as she watched him to be sure he didn’t continue scratching as much, as that only makes eczema worse and causes it to spread.

There are many people out of employment right now. The economy has affected many people in many ways. It is unbelievable how hard people are having during their job search. There doesn’t seem to be many jobs available. When doing a job search on line, it appears there are many jobs available until you call them and are told it is no longer available and they have already hired someone for that position. People are getting stressed and sometimes violent, because it is affecting their marriages and home life, due to not being able to pay their bills and losing their homes. There are many ways to do a job search, including on the Internet, reading different newspapers and also going through the phone book and calling different companies. I hope the economy improves so less people will need to be doing a job search and can become employed once again.
