There are many people out of employment right now. The economy has affected many people in many ways. It is unbelievable how hard people are having during their job search. There doesn’t seem to be many jobs available. When doing a job search on line, it appears there are many jobs available until you call them and are told it is no longer available and they have already hired someone for that position. People are getting stressed and sometimes violent, because it is affecting their marriages and home life, due to not being able to pay their bills and losing their homes. There are many ways to do a job search, including on the Internet, reading different newspapers and also going through the phone book and calling different companies. I hope the economy improves so less people will need to be doing a job search and can become employed once again.

My mother has had a life insurance policy for many years. Recently, she decided to purchase another policy to be sure it covered all the expenses our family would be facing. She called many insurance companies to get different term life insurance rates. There were also some others that were on the internet to choose from. As you get older, sometimes term life insurance rates can be more expensive. You can pay by the month, bi yearly or yearly. She found it was sometimes cheaper to pay by the year. She never had any health problems, and still doesn’t, but still wanted to cover all expenses, if it was not too costly. In comparing all the different term life insurance rates she received, she still has not made up her mind of which one she wants to purchase.

With today’s economy the way it is, it is sometimes hard to afford to buy everything a person needs. I save a lot of money clipping coupons, reading ads and buying generic items. If a person really wants to find the best buy, it is sometimes better to shop around before buying. If you are buying a larger item for your home, you can sometimes find the best buy at used furniture stores or thrift stores. If you don’t buy on impulse, and take your time you will find the better buy. You can really save a lot in different ways at different stores.

My auto insurance payments really hit me at a bad time of the year. I always have to make my 2nd payment in early December, so I have to start putting money back for Christmas and my car insurance a few months in advance. I really need to start looking for a better car insurance company. I pay way too much money for mine, considering the year, make and model of my car. Friends of mine pay less than half what I pay and they have nicer cars and better coverage. Maybe Santa Clause will bring me a better car insurance policy for Christmas.

A friend of mine wants me to invest in a fast food franchise with him and his father in law. Last year he tried to get me to invest in a 711 convenience store franchise, but I really couldn’t afford it at the time. I’ve been at this job for about a year now and I think my position here is pretty stable. A fast food franchise would be a great opportunity and it’s almost guaranteed to make money. I need to talk about it with my girlfriend and see what she thinks about a franchise investment.

I have worked for other companies, businesses and individuals most of my life. I always wanted to own my own business and be my own boss. I finally got that opportunity. To get a small business opportunity was so exciting for me. I decided to open a daycare. There was a lot of work to opening it and getting started. I was very busy with the financing, lots of paperwork and all the planning and preparing. I have never regretted it and have fully enjoyed it. I believe if anyone ever gets a small business opportunity, they should take advantage of it, if any way possible.

I have been planning for a family vacation for a couple of weeks now. There are so many hotel deals I found when searching online. Some hotels are free with a package with the airline and staying a certain amount of days. Others offer three free nights after purchasing one week’s stay. I even found one that offered free brunch each morning regardless of the amount of people staying in the room. I was very impressed at all the hotel deals there are. Now, I will have to make up my mind real soon and make arrangements.

My Mother and Father had an anniversary coming soon. It was the big important 50th Anniversary. My brothers and sisters wanted to do something special for them, but we  really weren’t sure what to do, or what my parents would like. We tried to decide if we should give them a reception, gift or pay for them to go on a trip. We set up an appointment with a travel agent to discuss luxury vacations. We decided to pay for them to go on a tip to Hawaii, since they always talked about going there. They never were able to take any big trips, due to how expensive it was to raise 4 children. We also gave them a low budget, inexpensive reception before they left. We learned that giving someone a luxury vacation, or taking one yourself, can sometimes be a one in a lifetime experience and one you’ll never forget.

Last year a close friend of mine went through the daunting task of applying for a mortgage loan. He didn’t really have any idea what to expect when he started going through the loan process, but he sure found out quick that it wasn’t anything to be taken lightly or without complete knowledge of all of the terms and conditions involved in the loan. He was trying to get the mortgage loan against his house so that he could start a small business. He asked me for my help at first, but I know absolutely nothing when it comes to loans or mortgages or much other credit and financial processes. He ended up getting the loan but I still don’t think he completely understands all of the terms associated with it. I asked him a few questions that he couldnt really give me the answers to. I really hope that he made the right choice and didn’t just jump into it after listening to the guy that he was talking to who works at the bank. I’m sure the guy would be willing to tell him whatever he wanted to hear to get him to sign the papers. I wish him luck, though. He deserves to succeed with his new business.

A while back I was going through some of the papers that I had stashed away in one of my filing cabinets and I came across the papers for my car insurance policy. I forgot how bad the terms and everything were on my car insurance. I’ve had the same car insurance for the past 9 years and I’ve paid the exact same ammount the entire time. It really seems like they should be giving me some sort of significant discount by now. I’m paying about three hundred bucks every 6 months just for liability. I don’t know anyone under the age of about 17 paying that much for liability car insurance. For that price I should be getting full coverage with a very low to moderate deductible. I haven’t had a whole heck of a lot of experience with car insurance, but I know all of our friends have cheap car insurance with the same kind of coverage that I’ve got. I’m going to give them a call tomorrow to see what’s going on. I’m going to switch insurance companies for sure if they cant offer me any kind of better terms for my car insurance. This is pretty ridiculous. I’m glad I came across the papers.
