After getting new carpet installed in our home a few years ago, I have used many cans of different chemical cleaning products to clean spots on our carpet. It never seemed to do a very good job and sometimes made even more spots on it. I recently went to a business that specialized in cleaners and cleaning services. They advised me to use a steam cleaner, if I wanted to rent one and do it myself, so I did. I was amazed how well it looked and how fresh it smelt after I was done. The machine I rented was a vapor steam cleaner. The vapor steam cleaner is a cleaner that uses only water, and no chemicals. They sell steam cleaners in vacuum style for carpets and also mop styles for linoleum. I will never use any canned products, or other carpet cleaning machines you can rent in other stores, where you have to put in a solution containing some special soap and chemicals. I am now thinking of buying my own steam cleaner, since it does such a great job of cleaning, removing spots and stains, kills dust mites, mold, germs and so much more. I can then use it whenever I want without renting one and I’m sure I will get my money’s worth by doing so.

We recently took a vacation and spent every night in a motel. One of them that we stayed in had the most unique and fancy bathroom light fixtures. After we came home from our trip, we decided to go shopping to see if we could find some light fixtures like those that we liked so much. We shopped at many stores before we could find any that were even close to matching the ones we were looking for. Finally we did in a specialty store that dealt strictly in bathroom items. That particular store even had a catalog where we had a larger choice to choose from. We finally find the fixture in that store and purchased it. We decided to buy two so we could put one in each of our bathrooms. We had to order one of them out of their catalog, since they only had one in stock and we wanted the second one to be a different color.

My father in law has been coming over to my house on the weekends to help me with a few home improvement projects. Right now we’re working on some outdoor lighting in the front and back. We’ve been working on the kitchen and bathrooms. We replaced the kitchen faucets and the bathroom sinks and added some better lighting to the bathrooms. I’d like to lay some new tile on the kitchen floor, but that will come later. My girlfriend isn’t too happy about all of the messes, but she’ll be plenty happy when she see’s the final outcome.

I had been sleeping on the same bed for many years. I decided to buy a complete new bedroom set, even though I only really needed a mattress and box springs. After getting home with the new set and putting it all together, I realized that I should have bought new pillows. I had already recently purchased a new comforter set. I went to another store and bought a set of new pillows. When returning home with them, I realized they looked too small for my bed. I had to make one more trip back to the store again to exchange them for a bigger size. I bought queen size pillows since I had a queen size bed. I never paid enough attention to the size. I only first paid attention to how it felt. It looks much better now with the right size pillows.

My uncle works for a company that builds new homes. He only works part time as an assistant purchasing representative in buying the interior plumbing supplies. One of the items he purchases is fancy restroom and kitchen faucets. One of the latest faucets that he purchased for a home was one with a fancy brass handle with ivory on it. It was being installed on a pedestal style bathroom sink. After going to see it after it was installed, it was really beautiful. Just by adding fancier faucets to a sink, it can change the entire look of the room.

A while back I picked up some new roller shades for my living room.  We have been doing various home improvement projects for the past couple of months and we’re just about finished with everything. We still have a couple of things left to do, like install new showers in the bathrooms, but the majority of the projects are just about finished.
